Q3 Results 2024 Highlights: Hero MotoCorp, Zydus Lifesciences, KFC, Pizza Hut, Suryoday Small Finance, Pfizer, EaseMyTrip, Mamaearth, Bandhan Bank, Inox Wind, Tata Power, Dish TV India

Indian companies across industries already posting their third-quarter earnings, excitement mounts on which sectors performed better and what’s the outlook for the next quarter. Many companies are slated to announce their quarterly results, garnering significant attention from Dalal Street. Investors are particularly keen on the performance of major players.

Highlights of Results:

Hero MotoCorp: The company reported revenue of Rs 9,724 crore, up 21 percent YoY. The net profit came at Rs 1,073 crore, posting an uptick of 51 percent versus Rs 711 crore for the same period last year. The company’s focus on Parts Accessories & Merchandise (PAM) business has led to the business crossing annualized revenue of Rs 5,000 crore.

Dish TV India: Reported a consolidated net loss at Rs 2.83 crore in the third quarter ended December 23, 2023. Consolidated revenue from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 470.27 crore. The company said it continued to gain incremental subscriber market share during the third quarter.

Inox Wind: Posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1.81 crore in the December 2023 quarter on the back of higher revenues. The company’s total income rose to Rs 506.88 crore in the reporting quarter from Rs 237.68 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s order book stood at 2.6 GW.

Tata Power: Posted a marginal increase of 2 percent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1076 crore in December 2023 quarter. Total revenues rose to Rs 14,841 crore in the quarter from Rs 14,339 crore in the same period a year ago.

Q3 results

Mamaearth: Reported its third-quarter profit for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs 25.90 crore, up 263.3 percent in comparison to Rs 7.13 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company reported revenue from operations at Rs 488.22 crore, up 27.8 percent as against Rs 382.16 crore during the third quarter of FY23.

Bandhan Bank: Posted its third-quarter profit for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs 732.72 crore, up 152.2 percent in comparison to Rs 290.57 crore during the same quarter last year. Total income stood at Rs 5210.60 crore, up 7.6 percent as against Rs 4840.94 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

EaseMyTrip: Reported its third-quarter profit for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs 45.68 crore, up 9.6 percent in comparison to Rs 41.69 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 160.79 crore, up 18.1 percent as against Rs 136.15 crore during the third quarter of FY23.

Pfizer: Reported its third-quarter profit for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs 129.98 crore, down 13.7 percent in comparison to Rs 150.66 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 539.97 crore, down 13.2 percent as against Rs 621.75 crore during the third quarter of FY23.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank: Reported its net profit jumped four-fold to Rs 57 crore, reporting a growth of 284 percent. Net interest income stood at Rs 245.7 crore as compared to Rs 183.4 crore, up 33.9 percent year-on-year. Net total income stood at Rs 297.6 crore, up 42.3 percent.

Sapphire Foods: Announced its third-quarter results for the financial year 2023-24 with profit at Rs 9.83 crore, down 69.9 percent in comparison to Rs 32.70 crore during the third quarter of FY23. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 665.56 crore, up 11.6 percent.

Zydus Lifesciences: Reported its third-quarter earnings for the financial year 2023-24 with profit at Rs 789.60 crore, up 26.8 percent in comparison to Rs 622.90 crore during the third quarter of FY23. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 4505.20 crore, up 5.8 percent.
