Pennsylvania Man Justin Mohn Charged with Beheading Father, Posting Gruesome Video on YouTube

In a shocking and horrifying incident, 32-year-old Justin Mohn of Pennsylvania has been charged with the murder of his father after the latter was found beheaded in their family home in Middletown Township, Bucks County. The gruesome act took place on Tuesday night, leading to charges of murder and abuse of a corpse against Mohn, who is now in custody.

The distressing details unfolded when the victim’s wife returned home and discovered her husband’s decapitated body. Disturbingly, Mohn not only committed this heinous act but also allegedly posted a video of the crime on YouTube. The video, which displayed the gruesome scene, garnered over 5,000 views before being promptly taken down by YouTube authorities.

Law enforcement officers responded to reports of a decapitated body in the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive around 7 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim, a man in his 60s, dead in an upstairs bathroom. Mohn, the son of the victim, had fled the scene in his father’s vehicle.

The investigation took a chilling turn when authorities confirmed the existence of a disturbing social media video, believed to be connected to the incident. The 14-minute YouTube video featured Mohn wearing gloves and holding his father’s head in a plastic bag. The video, filled with right-wing conspiracy theories, saw Mohn identifying himself and confessing to the murder.

Mohn referred to himself as a militia leader and labeled his father a traitor for being a federal employee for 20 years. The video extended threats to various entities, including President Joe Biden’s administration, Black Lives Matter, the LGBTQ community, and antifa activists. YouTube removed the video, citing a violation of their policies against graphic violence and violent extremism.

Mohn, who has a history of filing lawsuits against federal agencies, was taken into custody in Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County, approximately 100 miles from the crime scene. Authorities tracked him using his cell phone, although the reason for his presence in that area remains unclear.

The preliminary hearing for Justin Mohn is scheduled for February 8 at 9 a.m. He was arraigned early Wednesday morning and is being held without bail. The motive behind this disturbing act is still under investigation.
