CAT 2023 Answer Key Live Updates: IIM Lucknow Set to Unveil Provisional Key and Candidates’ Responses

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is gearing up to release the answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023, conducted on November 26, 2023. With a massive participation of nearly 3 lakh candidates across three sessions, the release of the answer key is a highly anticipated step leading to the subsequent announcement of CAT 2023 results.

The CAT 2023 examination comprised morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, challenging candidates from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, respectively. According to the official notification released during the CAT 2023 registration cycle, results are expected to be disclosed by the second week of January 2024.

Steps to Access CAT 2023 Answer Key and Response Sheet:

1. Visit the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in once the answer key is released.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the answer key link (activated upon release).
3. Provide the necessary login credentials and submit the information.
4. After submission, the answer key and response sheet will be displayed. Review the details and proceed to download.

Upon reviewing the answer key, candidates can raise objections to specific answers within the prescribed schedule, as declared by the exam authority. IIM Lucknow will provide a link for objection submission, and the final results for CAT 2023 will be released after addressing all objections. The expected timeframe for result declaration remains January 2024, as per initial notifications from IIM Lucknow. CAT 2023 Answer Key Release Date: The CAT 2023 answer key is expected to be released by the first week of December 2023. Candidates who appeared for the CAT exam will be able to download the provisional CAT 2023 answer key and CAT 2023 response sheet using their login credentials.

Speaking about the release date, CAT 2023 exam convenor Sanjay Singh mentioned, “At this point, I cannot give a date for the release of the CAT answer key, but we will release it soon, by the first week of December.”

Procedure for Downloading CAT Answer Key 2023:

1. Go to the official website of CAT 2023, iimcat.ac.in.
2. Click on the link for CAT answer key 2023.
3. Enter login credentials such as the application number.
4. CAT 2023 answer key PDF will be displayed.
5. Check the answers and raise objections, if any.

Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answers by paying the requisite fee per question. On the basis of objections raised by candidates, the exam authority will release the CAT 2023 final answer key. The CAT 2023 result will be declared on the basis of the final answer key.

CAT 2023 witnessed a participation rate of 88%, with 2.88 lakh candidates out of 3.28 lakh applicants who registered. As the CAT 2023 results draw nearer, candidates are advised to stay vigilant for the release of the answer key and subsequent updates on the official website.
